Windows XP Networking Trouble!

I am trying to network a Laptop with XP Pro and a Desktop with XP Pro using 2 Netgear MA101 wireless adapters i have installed the software that came with them and ran the network wizard sevral times but all i get is it stating that it finds the other computer is there and the signal streth but i can not seem to get the internet or files to share.

Any advice would be great

Enable file sharing and also enable Internet sharing. That will solve it.

disable any firewalls on both machines andsee if it works - you may have a setting in the firewall which needs to be adjusted to allow network file sharing.

Have done all that and still only get a message pop up everynow and then stating that its connected to home1 and the sigal strenth.

any more ideas?
