Windows XP network + internet sharing

Hi, Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong - I have two computers networked together using coax,(one windows xp pro the other xp home) Using the wizard I can get them to work as a home network or as an internet share, But Not BOTH at the same time. Both ways work fine but I always need to run the wizard and restart both computers to change what I want to do (share folders or connect to the internet through sharing). Any Help would be great and appriciated.

Perhaps you need to manually set up a network - it can be very frustrating relying on the Wizard. When you have them connected together, go into Network Connections, right click on the connection and choose Properties. There are very good instructions in click here a thread from earlier this week about adjusting the TCP/IP settings.
