how do I boot directly into my desktop without going into the user accounts screen in Windows XP home edition

Hi Vendone,
Click on start.run and type control userpasswords2. clear the checkbox marked User must enter a user name and password to use this computer, then click apply.A dialog box will appear allowing you to specify the details to log on automatically.Just enter your username and password and click ok. The next time you start windows you will be logged on automatically.
