NTFS and FAT systems.

Which should it be...?.

Thats up to you,NTFS if your hdd is huge.FAT32,if you intend to use older hardware(scanners,etc)

Also: With FAT32 it is easier to fix the boot environment if it ever fails.
Also: FAT32, being a simpler structure, offers faster data transfers between disks or within a disk. (eg image creation) Mostly though you won't notice this.
