WIndows XP File Association problem?

I need to be able to print online orders from a business website.

When I click on the print order button, Windows says it doesn't recognise the file. I can search the web for the file association which doesn't work, so I take the only other available option which is to save it to my PC.

If I open Adobe Reader I can then open the orders for printing manually.

The problem is when I try and tell windows that Adobe Reader is the default program to open the document, I CANNOT tick the box which says "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".

Is there a way to fix this please?

On my old pc, when I clicked on the print order button on the webpage, the windows print options would appear and that was it. Adobe Reader did not have to be opened at all?

First question is -What is the operating system you are using?

Next What the extention of the file(s) you are trying to print?

Third- What program are you using to create the documents ?

Windows XP Pro SP3 with MS Internet Explorer 8.

MIME Type: application/x-orarrp-pdf

I am able to open and print these documents in Adobe Reader X after first saving the unknown document file type to the PC.

I don't create the documents, they are created by the Inter Flora Members website.

Thanks Terry, I also found that.

It is exactly the same problem I have!
I see from the last post he managed to solve it "by downloading a small Oracle Application, about 2MB."

I have googled "Oracle download" but have no idea what I am supposed to be downloading?

Any ideas please?
