Windows XP File Access

I am in the process of setting up an account for my son in Windows XP.

Is it possible to prevent him accessing certain files and folders on the PC? If so how is it done?

i believe it is done by right clicking the folder you dont want to share go to sharing and security check make this folder private

Set yourself up as an administrator (by default all users are admins)

GO to start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Choose his account and select "Change my account type". Now choose "Limited".

Now on your account password protect it.

Any folder and files you wish to share stick them in the shared folder.

I've tried both suggestions and when I log on as my son I can still access everything in the PC.

Files are marked "Do not share".

Any other ideas?
