Windows XP Boot

have just formatted my hard drive and re installed Windows XP Home when I boot I have the choice of starting Windows XP Home or Windows XP Home It shows two sets of windows on boot up but I have only installed Windows once is there any way of getting rid of the boot menu?

you can go in here on start up, screen will say wjich key to press and may be able to sort out there, failing that it could be a registry job.

I had a similar problem when I was trying to upgrade to windows xp from 98 and it has sset up as dual boot. Ultimately did a reformat via using fdisk from windows 98 start up floppy.

Go to start,run and type C:boot.ini ,OK,then delete last line starting with multi(0)disk and close and agree to amendments.
