windows XP and BIOS boot settings

Having just purchased and installed Windows XP, I notice that I have not been asked to prepare any emergency bootup disk.Am I correct in assuming that the installation CD serves this purpose?

My BIOS is set to search in the following order:
1 Floppy 2 Iomega Zip 3 Hard Drive 4 disabled.

I wish to use the Zip drive for permanent backup of data files.

Taking both these facts into consideration should I alter my BIOS to read:

1 CD ROM 2 Floppy 3 Hard Drive 4 Disabled

Thanks

The hard drive before the floppy is more secure - the system won't try and boot from a floppy accidentally left in the system.

Yes XP Boots from the Installation CD.

I have boot from CD then HDD in BIOS. Floppy disabled as boot device and PC told not to search for it.

This is a personal choice as I have used it once, and it saves time on bootup.I know it works, so I don't need the PC to check everytime it boots.

You can boot xp from floppy but you have to have 6 floppies pre-made, boot OPTION is best with CD then HDD and then FLOPPY.
