XP upgrade from win98


Xp completely new.

Best to get the full version if you can afford it becuase you won't have to use the 98Disk if you decide to reinstall. Much less hassle!

If you choose the upgrade route from 98, its always best to convert the file system from Fat32 to NTFS... its much more efficient and stable.

New install is definately best, clears all those old Win98 files which are no use anyway. and also gives you a nice clean computer.

You can use the xp upgrade disc to do a full install, it will just ask you to put the 98 disk in to verify you have one then it will carry on and do a full install
