WINDOWS VOLUME & MUSICMATCH VOLUME CONFLICT?

I have MusicMatch Jukebox on my WinXP pc. When MMJ is turned on it invariably adjusts the Wave slider in the Windows sound panel. The result is lower sound.

There also seems to be a conflict sometimes between MMJs own independent volume slider & the Windows volume control.

None of my other media players have any of the above problems.

Any ideas.

Cheers.

Hi rotormota, I had a similar problem with Winamp. It turned out that the Winamp volume slider was set at 50%.

Using media player was fine but everytime I used Winamp it reduced the volume slider on my Windows play control by half.

Hello bof......I have just sorted it after all this time!

In MMJ/Options/Settings/Uncheck 'Restore volume on Start Up'.

Might be the same for Winamp.

Cheers.
