hi all,

i've got problems with my laptop and basically it's recognising the router but its local access only or so its saying

i havent changed any settings and i've tried the diagose function and repair but all in vain

i've restarted about a million times and no change

can't think of anything else to try

By the way this is a problem taken from another forum: click here

I have the same problem and I'm not sure if Techguy has answered correctly or not. I found that his answer is too vague.

Can you give an exact answer please?

ANyone?

If it's connecting to the router then IP is working. Have you tried connecting with a cable? Can you access the configuration pages of the router to see if it's getting an IP address of its own, and handing a different one out to your PC?
