This may seem a silly question, I am using a laptop with Windows Vista OS, I am in Holland presently and everytime I log off there are at least 3 updates to be installed, today (15 sept) there were 17 updates!!! to be installed. Is this normal?? I use a laptop with Windows XP in England and it hardly EVER has to have updates added when i log off on that computer, is it dependant on your internet provider how many of these updates are sent?? I dont understand what they are for really. Thanks PCDIMWIT

Well, yes, it is only on logging out that you get the message that there are SO MANY of these updates and they only "instal" as you are logging off, and then sometimes they have to be "applied" when you log on again., but my question is: Is it normal to get so many of these updates all the time??
