Hi I have Norton Internet Security & thought as such the Firewall & Malware Protection should be off to avoid confliction & this would have been done automatically when I installed the Norton Software 3 months ago. However when checking Security Essentials these are on. Which is right/ Thank you

Kind regards

I think you are trying to get a new record of how many threads that you can get on the one page. You are busy to-day.

Not quite sure what you mean.[Firewall & Malware Protection should be off to avoid confliction].
If they were off they would not protect your computer.
Do you mean that Windows firewall should be turned off.if so it usually gets turned off automatically when you download a new Firewall. It does with XP not sure about Vista.

If you click on the down arrow to the right of Firewall and Malware protection it should tell you whether this is Windows or Norton and I think that it will probably sya Norton.
