I have just given my daughter a laptop and decided to stay the admin, so I put a password as you do but now I can't get into it as I must have hit the wrong key! I had one or two glasses of wine that night. I can't remember what I put in, I need to update programs as and when they need to be updated. Is there anyone out there that can help me overcome this problem.

You may have to set the bios to boot from cd first if you decide to create the NT boot disc.
