Windows Video playback lack of video

  gec6969 20:13 13 Jun 07

I have windows XP sp2 Home Edition.

I cannot see any video files (.wmv) that would play in Windows Media Player (v9.0) or any other player you can hear the audio but no video and if you watch the TV output of the PC you can see the video is showing on the TV.

I have tried to update and reinstall Windows Media Player v9.0 to v10 but it will not let me.

Can anyone tell me which files to change so I can get video playback again.
