Windows update link on IE7

I can't find a link on Internet Explorer 7 to connect to Windows update. Is there one?
I created a link on my favorites which for some reason won't work. (it goes to the updates page but the links there to check for updates don't work)
So I have to connect via a Google search each time to check for updates. (I assume I would be alerted for critical updates.) I have updates on XP set to let me know when available but I download manually. Does this only cover criticals?
A trivial problem but annoying. Any advice appreciated.
Regards
Andrew

If you click on Start-All Programs it should be up the top.

Never noticed that.

my download of IE7 introduced a link into my "Favourites" list, titled "Microsoft Websites". Opening that and using "Microsoft at home" leads me to the "Windows updates" page. Its easy enough to extract that as a separate link if you want it

Found it now.
I had removed the tools icon for reasons which now escape me! Have restored it.
Thanks for help
