My automatic update has advised the re-release of the update that shafted many computers last April. I visited microsoft.com for more infos. There is a statement saying the patch has been revised in light of performance issues caused by the first one. Dare I try installing it? Advice would be appreciated.

This has been mentioned several times on the site today and so far there has been no problems reported, which is my experience as well.

Thanks for the reply Mikef. I found a thread in Consumerwatch. I take the hint Powerless. I'm going for it.
