Windows stealing focus

How do I stop windows stealing focus from the ones I'm already working on?

I know "Tweak" has a tweak for it, and I'm using it, but it isn't stopping it!

Any help appreciated

Dave

Do you mean TweakUI? If so, there should be an option there to tell new windows to flash a few times rather than steal the focus. A reboot may be necessary before the option works.

Yeah sorry, I do mean TweakUI!

It does do the flash thing, but not always.

It can be really annoying if a window nicks the focus. It can happen just as you are typing a password in - your attention goes while you make sure you are typing the right combination, then look up to find you've typed the password into a visible document...!

Not good!

montyburns - yes, I know the feeling! I have done it more than once. I'd be interested in a solution too.

Is this a new "feature" from Service Pack 2? t's really ticking me off!
