Have you installed the Net.Framework update?

If you have and you don't need it, un-install via Control Panel; Add/Remove programs.

I recently did an updatewhich I seem to recall had mention of Net.Framework, but there is nomention of it in Add/delete programs and the only reference to the update I did refers to Outlook Express. Any thoughts where I should be looking would be most helpful.

Click start>run and type 'control userpasswords2' (without the quotes)

A box now pops up, Now untick the box that says "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"

Click apply then OK

Now reboot
