I am worried about downloading SP3 for windows XP as I hear that it reviews your MS software for unlicenced copies. XP came with the pc from new but MS Office came from a mate... has the day of reckoning come?

If you have a child at school or you are at college or uni, you can get Office 2007 for £40 or so & you can install it on 3 PC's. Not a lot for piece of mind & going legal. click here

If you have the original disc, with the key, then I don't think you have anything to worry about. Just go ahead and install SP3.
