Windows Security Center

I have recently installed Norton Internet Security 2007. Did this turn off my Windows Security center as it says it is 'currently unavailable' and should I be worried?

the Norton software takes over and shuts down the Windows XP Firewall. Nothing to worry about perfectly normal.

Just run the Live update in Norton a few times so all updates are in and the Tick status is Green.

If you want to re-enable windows security center do the following;

click start > run > type services.msc
scrol down to locate the security center and double click on it
in the properties box midway down use the drop down and set to automatic and click apply
then just below click start then click ok and close. J.B.
