You need DVD maker to make DVD. Comes on Vista, not on XP don't know about 7

Just make your file then use dvd flick to convert/author and burn its free.Depending on the quality (original) you should choose save to my computer then select either Hi quality WMV or dv_avi which is the best but huge files size and not worth it unless your original was High quality video.Either way just drop the file/s into dvd flick read the guide and proceed

I already had DVD Flick
I won't have time to try it for some days but I can see how to do it

I suppose I was optomistic that something to do with Windows would actually do what I wanted instead of what it wanted.
