Is there a way to lengthen the time that transitions take to develop between slides in Windows Movie Maker? I'd like to slow down the time if possible. Thank you.

The default transition time can be set in Tools>Options>Advanced.

Just solved it. Open WMM, go to Tools, options, advanced. You will see this:

from here you can select both picture and transition duration. Default appears to be 5 secs for the picture, and 1.25 secs for the transition. Change it to what you wish.

It appears that you must make the changes before adding images to the storyline.
