Can anyone tell me how to get rid of Windows Messenger. I'm using Windows 7. It seems to re-create itself in the start menu whenever I use Hotmail. It then appears on my screen at startup

In programs and features select Windows Live Essentials. Double click and in the window that opens select uninstall, continue and select WLM and follow the prompts.
