Windows Media Player - Rotate image?

  Dirty Dick 22:09 17 Jun 05

I have made a short mpeg video on my camera, and downloaded it onto my PC. When I play the video, its shown on its side, because I held my camera on its side to change the view (landsape & Portrait etc). Is there any way I can rotate the image so I don't have to lay down to watch it?

Yes. Assumimg that you have Windows XP, open your clip with Windows Movie Maker, drag the clip down onto the timeline, right click on the clip, select video effect, scroll down the list to Rotate, select the appropriate item, add to displayed effects, click ok. Check that your movie is now upright in the preview window, select file, save Movie file, pick a file quality, save your new clip.
