I have tried to play a DVD someone had recorded on my Windows media player but it says it can't read it as there is no decoder.
This is on a download of media player 10 - my previous (9) did not read it either but it plays on the xbox OK.
Tried the miocrosoft site upgrades and the dvd plugins seem to be asking for money?

Using Win XP Pro.

then resolved it by downloading "Media Player Classic"

13 megs though
This resolved my problems...

Do I just download MPC 6.4.8.2?
Is this a wmplayer upgrade from 10 or a completly different prog?
Any conflict problems?
Is it microsoft?
