Windows Media Player Instead of Downloading File

  Johninho 17:58 14 Feb 04

I don't know what I've done, but when I try to download an mp3 file, windows Media Player starts playing it instead.

Driving me mad.

Using Windows XP Pro.

Anyone know how to turn it off.

you could try opening windows media player and under options remove mp3s but you will then need another mp3 player to play them. So you could use winamp (download it) and let that be the default mp3 player. no more windows media

Right click the file/link and then select 'Save Target As'/'Save As'.
