For some strange reason, my WMP (version 9) has stopped being able to view streaming video's - it just hangs whilst "connecting." It won't then shutdown without using the ctrl-alt-delete method and after doing this, won't launch at all until the computer has been restarted.

It plays copied files off the hard drive ok.

Have tried re-downloading it (over the existing files because I can't delete them - is this a seperate problem?)all to no avail.

Help please.

(using XP, Explorer)

I've just picked up an M$ WMP update for w2k (which I had to scan for as it's not a security patch), so there maybe one for xp. It helps streaming.

MichelleC,

Unfortunately, I've already tried that.
