Hi all. Could anyone tell me if it is possible to watch TV through Windows Media Player if you have a TV-Tuner card installed? Cheers.

I think if you have a TV tuner and software it just appears on your monitor like a television.

yeah, i know most of them have bundled software. The reason I am asking is that I am using Visual Basic to write an application and I would like to be able to show a TV picture through it. Visual Basic integrates very easily with Windows Media Player. Thanks for the input though.

This website uses WMP9 for TV coverage:

But whether you can use it for the purpose you envisage is somewhat doubtful - a TV tuner card normally comes with specific drivers and software for its own screen.
