hi my friend just downloaded a movie via bittorrent to his laptop. when the download completed he tried to open it with wmp11. since this is the only software he has for viewing any media and his internet connection takes days to download anything (he uses dial-up) he dosent want to download a proramme just for it to take a wee so he can see 1 movie

he gets an error message saying "your system does not have enough memory to play the selected content" - i checked his memory status and it has 28gb left

due to forum rules we are unable to give information that may help infringe copyright laws

and as your friend has downloaded this using bittorrent i can only assume it is a pirate copy

my apologies if this is incorrect

I think it means system memory not hard drive space,so i doubt he has 28Gig of ram, check the total ram he has.
