Windows Media Player 11 error C00D10D2

Running XP Home Edition I want to rip an complete CD. The following message appears on WMP "Windows Media Player cannot rip one or more tracks from the CD" Have tried different CD's and have unsinstalled and reloaded.
On the Microsoft Help the message is described as "Error C00D10D2" but offers no help.

One answer is to download "audiograbber" and rip and paste through Explorer.
