Windows media player

On opening media player and going into file, there is a list of previously opened items, the last 9 video/music files to have been played.

How do I delete this list?

If you go into WMP Help and type in Delete, you will find how to delete these playlists - that's what the Help section is there for, to answer such questions...:-)

Its not a playlist, just a list of previously opened files, as in word which shows the last 4 opened files.

start media player, go to file, and in the drop down menu is a list of previously opened files, its these that i wish to find out how to delete.

There is nothing in the help files about this.
