windows media center full screen

can anyone tell me how to watch a dvd in full screen on win/media center.
without the black bars top and bottom of screen when in full screen.

having tryed the answer in 2 down.
i had no luck
on pressing alt and return media center gos full screen great but its 2" to the left and 2" off the bottom.
anyone know how to reset it in the registery

In Windows 7 "Maximise" button does the trick - have you tried with Vista?

hi yes i have but still get bars
if i hit alt and return i get full screen. Great
but its off center leaving 2" to the right and 2" off the botton.
now if i could only move it over.
its got to be somthing like you said.

Can you access the bottom edge & drag it to fill the screen?

If not, what's the resolution of your monitor? G

hi reformated
computer pressed alt and return got full screen centered
but still have black bars top and bottom
in answer to your question i did and it stoped short 2"
