i'm sure someone will be able to solve your problem, there's some clever peeps on these forums,i've never really used media center cos i found it really buggy with videos sometimes playing and other times not amongst other things :o(

you could go into control panel- default programs and set your defaults from there

From what you have said so far I think that you should be able to see the pictures.
In Vista the main folder is called Pictures not My Pictures under your user name.
What do you get when you open Media Center and click on under Pictures & Videos you click on Picture libray. If there isn't anything then you should be able to right click on "folders" and choose library set up and then follow the wizard to browse through to the folder in which your pictues are stored.

open Media Center and click on under Pictures & Videos

set up library i have ticked every box
but no pics
will try set up defults in control panel.

Did you follow my previous post precisely and look in Picture Library in Windows Media Center?

  hubdean 18:48 19 Nov 08

the names of my pictures are there but no pictures?

  Woolwell 19:30 19 Nov 08

I've done a google search and I think that you may have a registry problem. Unfortunately I cannot find the solution. Do you have Nero installed?

  hubdean 19:36 19 Nov 08

no not nero
but will have a look see if i can find the problem in registry
