Windows mail emails wont send

This has only just happened but I cant send out emails via Windows mail although I can recieve them. I get an error message

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'Re: Agenda', Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 aamtaout04-winn.ispmail.ntl.com connection refused from [86.174.66.76]', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67

sounds like an ISP problem to me

I thought it was an ISP prblem too but I can send emails via the virgin website

Re-check your smtp settings. You appear to have port 25 Secure SSL no. The port should be 465 and ssl enabled see click here

Some ISP's only allow email to be sent using an email address supplied by that ISP. Can you send using a different address?
