Windows mail

Looking for a bit of advice re. Windows mail which I have been using fot a few years now with no probs .I am using Vista Home Premium , Service pack 2. On the last few days on opening to check mail , I get a box on screen saying,

Would you like to go off line ?

No connection to the internet is currently available.To view internet content that has been saved on your computer click work offline.
Click try again to attempt to connect.

When I click box , mail downloads as normal.

Don't know why this message has started to appear .

Try this r.s.logan

Open WM, go to Tools, then accounts, then select your email account, go to
properties, then to connection. Check the box that says "always connect to
this account using," Local Area Network!
