I understand that Windows Mail which MS now include with Vista does not allow the use of hotmail or yahoo or similar email configurations like Outlook Express used to be able to.
Whats are the alternatives if someone wants to use a program to run email rather than web based email. Is Outlook Express available still for instance?

Windows Live Mail with Vista allows you to use Hotmail and YahooMail as well as regular POP3 mail. Live Mail has a distantly similar look to Outlook Express and is very simple to use and understand.
