windows live mail backup help

  Boy Zone 17:29 12 Jun 08

I'm done what loads of others have been forced to do, forced to migrate from outlook Express to Windows Live Mail.
I can follow the storage location directory, but how do I back up all my folders within WIndows Live Mail, in case I have a systems failure?
It seems so different from O/E with it's DBX folders.

I hope I dont have to buy software to enable one to carry backups.

Why not use Acronis True image regularly. That way nothing to fear about losing anything!

Create a folder in documents, name it to 'Email' or anything you want.

Within windows live mail/Tools/Options/Advanced/Maintainance/Store folder, btowse to your newly created folder and click ok.

You can copy the folder at anytime to another drive or cd/dvd.
