Windows Installer - problem

  frappy 19:04 01 Nov 06

Whilst carying out various functions - ie Accessing "My Computer", "Local Disc 'C'" clearing "Ad Aware" update, a box keeps appearing with the following:
Windows Installer - "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the package "Easy Media Creator update.msp in the box below". The box shows: C:\DOCUME\LOCALS~1\Temp\_is6 - what does this mean? Various colleagues have been stumped on this irritating problem. I am on Windows XP Home Edition. I did have Roxio CD Creator 7 installed - had problems - uninstalled and installed Roxio 6. Trying to reinstall 7 kept bringing up the above problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
