Hi All,

i had a problem with my PC so i decided to start from scratch and install Windows again. Unfortunately i didn't choose the correct and now have windows installed on my PC twice.

1. How can i find out which Version of Windows i am currently use?

2. Can i delete the first version without causing my PC any problems

2a. If deleting the first version will cause issues will leaving it on my system cause issues.

Just to say that i have a HD of 245GB.

On boot up does it give an option to boot in to either version. i.e. use c:\ windows or d:\windows?

Open Notepad, then click Open in Menu, Navigate to C:\Boot.ini copy and paste the text hear.

DavidCap, to see boot.ini, you have to go to Windows Explorer - Tools - Folder Options - View. Untick Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).

Why not go through the procedure again, but format this time and you will only install one version.
