WIndows Instalation

I've got an old notebook (Toshiba Tecra) with a CD drive and no floppy. I have to re-install windows 98 but don't know how to make the cd start first. The Toshiba boot option software for the notebook doesn't have option for CD (HDD and floppy only).

The windows 98 disk isn't bootable... You will have to create a "bootable image" and add all the installation files onto it and then burn the image onto a cd!!!

Is the drive checked on boot? You may need a notebook recovery disc, a normal 98 installation disc doesn't work, even if you had a floppy.
