Windows + Global Edit

Can anyone tell me if it is possible for the following:

Windows ME in Explorer
In a particular folder, instead of clicking on each file separately and renaming it by changing one word of that file, is there a way to "global edit"

The file names I want to rename all have one word the same in their file name and I want to change that particular word in the file names.

Many thanks

Thanks for the quick reply and have downloaded as suggested.

However it does not say it is for WindowsME

Have you used it with ME and if so does it work properly.

I`ve only used it on XP but I checked the official download page and it does mention Windows 2000 so I would think you will be alright. You can always uninstall it if it doesn`t work, I can`t think that it will do any damage.

Thanks for your help.

I tried it out and the first time it worked well.

Did just what I wanted, however when I tried opening it up a second time it wouldn't work. Couldn't even reload the programme from the download. Might have been a corupted download so will download from site again and give it another try.

Thanks again
