Windows genuine advantage

Having just read the 'Microsoft dials back Genuine Advantage' article on the home page, I tried to find it via Help & Support. (It appeared as a download this morning but I was in a hurry to get to work , so I ignored it) However, when I go to Help & Support, I'm told I need to connect to the internet, but I've got BB and am already connected - am I missing something here, please?

Just go back to updates manually click here
It should let you load it.

It is listed as a critical update ; however it does nothing to add to the security of your computer merely checks and varify's you have a legal copy. The thing that bothers me it is constantly reporting to ms even after it has been validating IMHO constitutes spyware.

Blast - clicked closed before saying that the update appeared again just now when I logged on again.

I'm already set up to receive stuff automatically, but what was confusing me was the instruction to connect to the internet when tyring to access Help & Support when I'm on BB.

Thanks for the responses
