Windows Explorer removed by mistake

  TOMSTEPHENSON1 13:17 18 Jul 04

I have quite an old PC operating with Windows 98. I have been removing some old programs to save disc space and mistakenly removed Windows Explorer. The PC cannot boot up now and is telling me to reload Windows. I have my Windows CD but no bootup floppy. Is it a straight forward job of just inserting the CD. I would appreciate any help in going about the job.

down load the boot disk and make the floppy. Put the floppy in the a:drive and boot up. Your pc will read the floppy and then you have to locate the cd-rom drive (usually D:/) type in setup and press enter....TT

make sure you have your win98 cd in the drive by the way....TT
