Windows Explorer Error

Something strange has happend to my brothers windows xp home edition.He's got two episodes of lost in a folder and when he clicks on one he can watch it with no problems but, when he clicks on the other he gets a "Windows Explorer Error" saying that it has encounted a problem and needs to shut down.Can anyingone help out?.

1. Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.
2. Click the Advanced tab, click Performance, and then click Settings.
3. In Performance Options, click the Data Execution Prevention tab, ensure Turn on DEP for all programs and services
except those I select is enabled, and then click Add.
4. In the Open dialog box, locate and then tick windows explorer.
5. Click Open, click Apply, and then click OK. When you are prompted to restart your computer, click OK.

Joe, tried it and nothing explorer still locks up.

Joe R....thankyou very much,even though it doesn't seem to have worked for Gibbothegreat, it has worked for me. Don't know how it got turned on my machine but it's off now. (bloody thing!!!lol).
