After Windows Explorer message comes up

Dr Watson postmortem Debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for inconvenience.

After these messages My Computer is not responding. When I end task “My Computer” in Windows Task Manager where comes up another message

You choose to end the nonresponsive program, Windows Explorer.

Since these messages are coming up I cannot access one of my folders which is quite annoying.

Is there any way how to fix these errors?

Also are you using XP or Vista?

what did you mean by repair from windows cd. If I repair from Windows CD will I lose all my data or it will repair actual error and leave my data alone?
