Windows error log

In the Windows error log I keep getting 'Disk - The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk\4\D.'
\Device\Harddisk\3\D.'
\Device\Harddisk\1\D.'
\Device\harddisk\2\D.' etc...

I have one Hard drive(C),DVD-RW(D)and Floopy(A)installed. The PC seems to working OK but want to know why I get these reports.

Thanks Alan for the link.I am still working on it.

I have found out the error log is due to the 4 slot card reader. Each input is listed as a Hard disk .According to my pc supplier it is a bogus report due to the system trying to contact none existing Hard drives when no cards are installed.
