ive just installed microsoft defender 2 beta and im not sure whether it as real time protection does anyone know for sure if it has or not.thanks.

Neither can I but it says it does really time protection, maybe someone more knowledgeable will be able to tell us what the process is for it?

Use ctrl-alt-delete to open the Task Manager.

Look under the Processes tab for MSASCui.exe and MsMpEng.exe, these two files mean defender is running.

Hope this helps.

PS I know this because I just googled the 2 file names as I didn't know what they were.
