or could it be something else?
In a recent post
sclick here
I discussed the problems associated with corrupt images on a CD.
Having sorted that[I think] and created a slide show to the satisfaction of the image disc owner, I thought to make a 'clean' CD of the surviving images
So I transferred the contents of the folder to XP's own burner.
Thus proceeded well until during the 'Burn' phase I got the message 'CD burner could not complete the burn'
Several attempts produced the same result.
Is it the Burner drive conking out ? I thought.
So I tried again this time with an external program[CD Burner XP Pro]
This time it worked.
I Got a burned disk with images.
But when I examined the disk- the mystery deepened.
On the disk was some. not all of the images from the folder containing those I had copies off the CD.
The rest [the majority]however were copies of images from all over my images store from a whole variety of folders - non of which I had involved in the copy process.
So what is my machine up to?
