Should be ok to the best of my knowledge. Mine is recognised with no problems.

You may have to go to the Microsoft site for a download patch as some comps seem to need it to enable large disc support

Your BIOS needs to support it too. It's not always easy to check, but if you have an option for LBA or logical block addressing in BIOS settings, that should be fine for an 80GB hdd.

If you need to use fdisk, older versions of fdisk does not recognise beyond 64GB click here
